Carmarthenshire County Council is reminding residents to check their waste and recycling collection dates over the festive period. Changes have been made to ensure services run smoothly during Christmas and the New Year.
Here’s when your bins will be collected over Christmas:

Put your bins out by 6am on your collection day. Remember the three black bag limit and please wash and squash your recycling.
Hygiene and nappy waste
Collections for hygiene and nappy waste will also follow the revised Christmas schedule, so please check your updated collection day.

Recycling Centres
All sites will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, and will close at 12 noon on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
*Sunday 21 & 28 December and Saturday 3 January - Trostre and Wernddu Recycling Centres will be open in the afternoon only (12-4pm). Whitland and Nantycaws will open at their usual opening times on these dates.
